Paradise Beach

Paradise Beach is located on the north-western side of Paradise Island, Bahamas. It’s about 100 feet wide and 1 mile long, with a nice curved shape. The water is very clear with shades of blue and green and the sand is silky white.

The isolated area of Paradise Beach is now beautified by the Cove Atlantis hotel. If you stay here, then you will have limitless access to this part of the beach.

If you’re not a guest at the Cove Atlantis, then don’t worry… you still have access to most of Paradise Beach, where you can relax in the sun, enjoy parasailing, jet-skiing, snorkeling and the coconuts…

On the eastern end, you can find Hog Point coral reef, a great snorkeling spot.

How to Get to Paradise Beach

Options to travel to or from Paradise Island is very limited. There’s no public transportation system in the island, except the free shuttle bus to and from Lynden Pindling International Airport, provided by the Cove Atlantis hotel for their guests.

Most people will walk or hire a taxi for far destinations.

There’s also a free shuttle bus between Pirate’s Cove and the Atlantis Casino, which runs every half an hour for each direction.

Another alternative to reach Paradise Beach from Nassau is by water taxi. It usually takes about 10-15 minutes to get there and the water taxi is normally available starting from 09.00 AM to 06.00 PM.
